Steve Bale Leaves Hadlow United

Summer acquisition Steve Bale has been released by United under mutual consent.  The player was on the fringe of the first team and admitted he would find it hard to establish himself as a first team regular.  Steve wants to pursue a career in refereeing and will undergo his examinations.  Steve will remain on United's books as an emergency option.

Steve said, "To be honest I think it is time to sign off from Hadlow. I have to be honest and realistic and say that I am not going to get a game.  I have to stand a reasonable chance of getting a game to make giving up my Sunday's worthwhile. I got regular footie at Swiss Life and university second team so that was worthwhile. I never expected to go straight in but when you are third or fourth choice then it will never happen."

"I feel very sad doing it. I really enjoyed the training. Learnt a lot and I really felt the benefits"

Everyone at Hadlow United Football Club wishes him well in his refereeing, and thanks him for his services.
